"The Adventures of Pinocchio" is a work of children's literature that everyone knows. I remember the giant whale from the story - there is a dramatic scene in which Pinocchio finds Geppetto in the whale’s stomach. Recently, I started reading the original version of the story (written by Carlo Collodi, illustrated by Attiglio Mussino). I was surprised to find out that the sea creature in the original version is not a whale, but a shark.
「ピノキオの冒険」は誰もが知っている児童文学作品です。物語に登場する巨大なクジラを覚えています。ピノキオがクジラのお腹でジェペット爺さんを見つけるというシーンはとても印象に残っていました。最近、物語のオリジナル版（カルロ・コッロディが執筆し、アッティリオ・ムッシーノがイラスト）を読み、海の生き物はクジラではなく、サメであることを知って驚きました。
