ソックスアートの雄鶏を作り始めたとき、Pat Hutchinsの「Rosie’s Walk」という本を思い出しました。子供が幼稚園に通っていた時、学校のブックフェアでその本を手に入れました。非常に若い読者向けに書かれた絵本で、シンプルなテキストとユーモラスなイラストが描かれておりとても楽しめます。ただ、Rosieは雌鶏で、雄鶏ではありませんが。。。
