I was asked to make three SocksArt goats from the Norwegian folk tale, "The Three Billy Goats Gruff” for a puppet show. This is a classic story that has been published as picture books by many different illustrators. I hadn't read the book, so I bought a Japanese version which was published in 1965 - illustrated by Marcia Brown and translated by Teiji Seta. From this book, I was inspired and created SocksArt for each of the three goats.
