SocksArt Zoo

I found a pair of beautiful blue patterned socks at Uniqlo and wondered what animal would be best for these socks. Yes! A blue dog!! (?) So I made a blue bulldog. I made it with a charming expression. Making the bulldog's expression was fun, so I also did a French bulldog as well. When I heard my friend’s dog had cancer and would not be able to survive, I made a special SocksArt of her dog to comfort her. She was so pleased - that this special SocksArt dog is still with her, even after the loss of her dog. I was glad to hear my SocksArt project has made people happy. I’ve also made several other dogs for my friends, who have dogs.

綺麗な色と柄のブルーのソックスがあったので、ブルーの犬（？）ブルドッグを作ってみると、愛嬌のある表情で出来上がり、気に入った作品となりました。ブルドッグの表情が楽しく、加えてフレンチブルドッグも作りました。知人の犬が癌で、数ヶ月持つか持たないかの状態で悲しんでいるのを知り、その犬のソックスアートを作って、慰めになればと思い、贈りました。愛犬を亡くした後でも、ソックスアートの愛犬と一緒にいれると、とても喜ばれました。ソックスアートのプロジェクトが元気を与えてくれたのをとても喜ばしく思います。その後、機会があるごとに、愛犬を持っている知人達にも作って、特別な贈り物にしています。犬が沢山集まりました。
