I have been taking calligraphy classes at the Japan Society in New York since last year. I haven't had the opportunity to do calligraphy since my school assignments in elementary school back in Japan. I remember enjoying calligraphy when I was a child. So, I started calligraphy again.
The works collected here are the twelve animals of the zodiac cycle, 十二支 (干支). I put them together with the SocksArt animals.
昨年から、Japan Societyで書道のクラスを受けています。書道は、小学生だった頃に学校の課題としてやって以来、長い間、書道をする機会に恵まれませんでした。子供の頃、書道を楽しんでいたのを覚えており、再び書道を始めました。。。
ここに集めた作品は、干支の書です。十二支に登場する動物達（SocksArtの動物達）と組み合わせました。お楽しみください！
